It was a busy fall for members of the Waldron Rand team. We attended two annual conferences, to share our perspectives on tax reform and take advantage of powerful professional sessions with our partners in Morison KSi. And we added to our growing staff (and family).

Silicon Valley Bank Private Equity Finance Summit

Rick Dlugasch and Sharon Shaff traveled to Vermont to participate in the fourth annual Silicon Valley Bank Private Equity Finance Summit.

With about 50 private equity CFOs in attendance, Rick and Sharon joined the Finance Roundtable on The Personal & Professional Impacts of Tax Reform, and shared their expertise on the 2017 Tax Reform and Jobs Act. Discussion focused on how tax law changes affect private equity funds, their portfolio companies, and attendees as individuals.

Morison KSi International and North America Annual Conference

Waldron Rand is a member of Morison KSi, a global association of independent accounting firms. At its International and North America Annual Conference in San Francisco, Morison KSi hosted 139 delegates from member firms worldwide, including representation from Waldron Rand.

The conference presented professional sessions on the evolution and future of accounting firms, celebrated success stories, and explored marketing and business development ideas from renowned experts and member firms.

The annual conference is a valuable networking opportunity that helps us strengthen our relationships and leverage the expertise of Morison KSi’s global support network.
