Internship Opportunities

Waldron H. Rand is a rapidly growing, suburban CPA firm and is currently seeking highly motivated tax interns to join our team. You will work closely with partners and clients to deliver outstanding tax and assurance services to our business clients. The firm has a strong history of hiring successful interns into permanent positions with excellent growth potential.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and analytical skills, as well as an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. During the internship, you’ll gain first-hand knowledge of the day-to-day responsibilities of servicing a diverse and challenging client base while assisting in accounting, assurance, and tax services. This position is ideal for a candidate looking for exposure to both audit and tax roles at a public accounting firm.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Organizing relevant financial materials and documents
• Accounting preparation for various business entities
• Support senior staff in compilation, review, and audit of financial statements for a diverse array of complex clients.
• Prepare corporate, individual and partnership tax returns for various businesses and their owners.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a BA or MS degree in accounting or taxation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High proficiency in use of computers and applicable software programs
• Detail-oriented, fast learner
• Works well as a team player.
