Sharon has extensive experience working with privately owned businesses and individuals on domestic and international tax planning, compliance and business matters. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tufts University and earned her M.S. in Taxation, with high distinction, at Bentley College’s McCallum Graduate School of Business. She also holds an Advanced Graduate Certificate in International Taxation. Sharon is also a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA) and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Sharon’s specialty in international taxation includes a comprehensive knowledge of the tax planning considerations and U.S. filing requirements for foreign corporations seeking to establish business operations in the U.S., as well as domestic clients doing business internationally. She helps make these transitions as smooth as possible through her experience and deep connections in the business community, both within the U.S. and internationally. On behalf of her clients, Sharon often serves as a liaison with banks, payroll providers, attorneys, and insurance agencies, as well as foreign legal and accounting firms. She also works extensively with foreign nationals to evaluate the tax implications of living and working in the U.S. In addition, Sharon works closely with U.S. clients and tax residents to help them understand and comply with strict IRS foreign disclosure filing requirements.
